Doc Crandall scrapbook : scrapbook, 1908-1951, 1911-1927.

The scrapbook concentrates on the career of Doc Crandall. The material is predominantly dated from 1911-1927, with some material from 1951. The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, newspaper photographs, cartoons, box scores, game accounts, and black-and white photographs. Items of note include a black-and white photograph of Crandall and Honus Wagner, a black-and white photograph of Crandall, Johnny Apple, and Babe Stapp (signed by Stapp) with a racecar at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1936, a 1911 World Series Program, correspondence from The Mirror (Los Angeles) to Mrs. Crandall, and radio transcripts of tribute programs to Crandall following his death.

Doc Crandall played and pitched for the New York Giants (1908-1913), St. Louis Terriers of the Federal League (1914-1915), St. Louis Browns (1916), and the Boston Braves (1918).
